What would cause outdoor condenser to turn off?
Was it running and suddenly quit? If so check the circuit breaker. Was the charge recently adjusted (freon added) if so it may be overcharged and shut itself down on the high pressure safety, if the condenser coils are blocked or dirty this could also cause a high pressure trip. If the unit is a newer one the reset would be to interrupt power briefly 30 seconds or so and turn it back on. Otherwise there is a push button reset inside the condenser.
