What would cause my period to come 3 days early and be very painful and heavy?
This may not help you at all, but I thought I’d share anyway. I came off BC in December, and my periods came, and they were heavier, but they were still 28 days in between. If I remember correctly, before going on the pill, I wasn’t too irregular. When I was younger, my mom would even tell me my period would probably be coming soon, and it would. She kept it written on the calender. I wasn’t expecting my last period to start until the 26th of Feb, but I got it 5 days earlier. It was terrible. Horrible cramps, worse than I could ever remember having. I bled a lot. At one point I had a tampon get soaked and start leaking within only 10 minutes. I was devastated as well. I was sure I had implantation cramping and spotting just days earlier. I had never had that happen to me before, so I thought I had a cute little sack burrowing into me.
