Don’t listen to anyone who tells you to pry them off. That is not the correct way to remove acrylic nails. That WILL cause damage to your natural nails, and it will cause you unnecessart pain as well. And don’t let a tech do that to you either. There is no proper way of forcing them off. The one and only way to safely remove acrylic nails is to soak them off in pure acetone. It usually takes about 40 minutes or so, so be patient. After they have soaked for that amount of time, you can use an orange stick, or a metal cuticle pusher and GENTLY scrape the softened acrylic off. You could also use a paper towel to remove it. If the acrylic doesn’t all come off the first try, simply soak for another 5-10 minutes, and try again. If you had a UV gel topcoat applied, then you will need to remove this with a nail file prior to soaking them because the acetone will not penetrate the UV gel coating. If you have a UV gel topcoat, it is usually applied in a thin layer, so not much filing will be req
