What would be an ideal development and operational model for Fosun? Would you please give us some examples among the worlds renounced companies?
Fosun has been learning from excellent companies such as Berkshire Hathaway (Warrant Buffet) and Hutchison Whampoa. We believe that as a conglomerate, especially one leaning towards investment, two things are critical: the company’s financing capabilities and the core competitive advantages of its invested portfolio companies. A good match of the two would be crucial in determining the company’s fate. Berkshire Hathaway has the perfect match. Mr. Buffet invests in insurance companies, which bring in long-term cheap capital to fund his other investments in industries that generate durable cash flows with sustainable growth, with his talents in investment. In Fosun, our plan is to pursue similar type of operational model and structure. This indeed is very important to our strategy for future development.
