What would be a good song to sing for auditions for high school musical?
Find out more about the auditions before you plan what to sing. It doesn’t sound like you really know how the auditions are going to work. I’m sure you could find out by asking someone who has done plays at your school before, or just talking to the director or head of the drama department. At my school, for example, we get assigned a song to sing at auditions. Everyone sings the same song (although there is usually a girl song and a boy song) and it’s always one from the show. So you wouldn’t want to learn a completely different song only to find that everyone who auditions is supposed to know the same one! I just strongly suggest you talk to the person who will be holding auditions. I’m sure they can help you figure out the sort of song you’re supposed to sing.
