What would be a good sized cage for an Eclectus parrot?
30″ x 30″ by 36″ high would be minimum. Remember the cage should be wider than the birds wing span. The larger you could afford the better. Remember to look at the bar spacing on the cage. It should not be where the bird could get its head threw and hang itself. Also remember white bird droppings show up real well on black cages. Beware of cages made in China. They have been know to put lead paint in childrens toys. Do you think they care about what goes into pet products? The top corner cage looks nice for a parrot of that size. The other two cages look like “tiel or smaller” bird cages. Cages have to be cleaned with water many rust out after 3-5 years. Bars should be big (thick) enough for aggressive beaks. I owned a pet store for over 6 years.
