What would be a good answer for the weakness question at an interview?

0

The weakness question serves 3X purposes: 1) to see if you know yourself, 2) If you can be honest, 3) Try and identify unacceptable weaknesses / problems. All humans have strong points and weaknesses. When answering this question, answer positive by saying that “I consider my weaknesses as Areas of Improvement (AoI)”, which is the political correct term for Weakness in this context. Then, show them that you know yourself and can be honest by identifying your AoI: for an example “I am a self motivator and will at times push myself over the limits. I consider this as an Area of Improvement, where if I can relax more I may improve my production.” or “I acknowledge that the fact that I have not been in a management position before, is an Area of Improvement, where I am prepared to …” Hope this has been of some help? Good Luck with that interview!
