What would be a funny slogan for Augustus Caesar?
His famous quote was “I find Rome in brick and I shall leave it in marble.” You can quote that and then say something about the large debt he accumulated in doing so. Or things about the civil wars he uprose. Another thing is that Augustus wasn’t a strong or well-kept man. He was indeed rather nerdy. In statues and modern paintings he is depicted as muscular and tall with great hair mainly because he was semi-devine (to Julius) and they tried to symbolize that he was more that what he seemed to be to the naked eye. Also it would be highly offensive to depict a Roman emperor as such in any art or form. Nonetheless, unlike Julius, he wasn’t much of a military man, didn’t excercise too often, wasn’t as muscular but rather thin, and wasn’t much of a womanizer as Julius was.
