What would ac action plan to protect Earth look like?
We’re not protecting Earth. We’re protecting ourselves. Earth will survive us because it’s a planet. It’s for selfish reasons that we want to adjust our carbon footprint because the climate on Earth could turn into something that could render us extinct — but Earth will still be here. For example, Earth was here before, during and after the dinosaurs went extinct. In that episode that took out the dinosaurs, 70 percent of all species on Earth’s land and oceans went extinct. So, let’s make it clear: We’re saving us on Earth, not Earth itself. I think the action plan should be to find an innovative way to tap solar energy, which is not isolated to solar panels. Plant life is solar energy because the plants receive their energy from the sun. Hydrogen-electric dams are also, in a way, a type of solar energy because the sun evaporated water that went into a cloud, which moved over to the mountainside and rained into a higher level than the base of the dam. Wind power is another solar option
