What would a moveable lump just above the jawline be?
It sounds as if you have found one of your lymph nodes. I did the same thing and kind of freaked out at first about 9 months ago. I went to my doctor and they looked at it. It was free floating (meaning it can move back and forth and around) and they told me not to worry about it unless it starts hurting or if it gets fixed. If it is fixed it won’t move and just feels like a lump under your skin. I would get it checked out anyway to be 100 % for sure. It just sounds like a lymph node to me and could have become enlarge by just a scratchy throat, allergies or swollen and irritated gums. Best advice is to get it checked, but if you don’t just keep an eye on it and if you find anymore get to the doctor immediately.
