What work does the American Lung Association® of Washington do?
The American Lung Association® is the oldest voluntary health association in the country. It was formed in 1904 to fight a major threat to lung health, Tuberculosis. Today the Lung Association funds research, education and advocacy programs to fight a number of threats to lung health including tobacco, bad air, asthma, lung cancer and a variety of other lung diseases.
