What won dow great stuff insulation stick to?
I gave up on that stuff years ago! DAP makes a product that does the same thing that you can clean up with soap and water and even “tool” it if you need to. Back to your air conditioner. You can get some foam rubber (the stuff they use in cushions) and cut that to fit. Styrofoam used for crafts and packing material also works well. It’s a little messier because it can flake when you put it in or take it out but it works. They also make kits just for this purpose. Or if someone you know has scraps of the foam insulation panels left over from a project, you can use those and tape them together.
