What Wisconsin product will be featured on the Rachel Ray Show?”
Wisconsin cranberries to be featured on Rachael Ray’s show Cranberries from Wisconsin will be shown in a different light, when Rachael Ray will feature them as a snack on her talk show. Ray will spotlight chocolate-coated cranberries from the Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association on Monday’s program. “The Rachael Ray Show” airs from 3 to 4 p.m. on WMTV (Ch. 15). “Now’s the time of the year,” said Lauren Olstad, spokeswoman for the state cranberry group. “A lot of people don’t realize cranberries can be used in different recipes, and even for snacks.” A snack is a daily feature on Ray’s program, and Olstad expects the group’s Web site, www.wiscran.org, to see some additional traffic after the show. “Everyone’s been put on alert,” Olstad said.
Details about the 400 Calorie Fix Diet were revealed today on “The Rachael Ray Show.” Rachael’s guest confirmed our suspicions by describing how she lost six pounds in two days by eating four meals of 400 calories a day. When you think about it, there really is nothing miraculous in this diet. In fact, it follows the same basic advice of all weight loss programs: consume fewer calories than you burn. Depending on your body weight, most people will lose weight if they take in 1,600 calories a day, whether or not they do it in four, eight, or one meal. (Of course, spreading out your food intake is always a good idea, because it helps your metabolism run at a steady level.) How the woman was able to lose six pounds in two days is a bit of a mystery–my guess is that she lost some water weight. But, if she sticks to the plan, she will also likely continue to lose pounds.
