What wireless spectrum does the nTouchTV IPTV set-top box use?
The nTouchTV IPTV set-top box recognizes the wireless-G technology, which is currently the most widely used router frequency. If you have an older router, such as wireless-B only, it is recommended that you upgrade to the newer and faster wireless “G” router. The nTouchTV IPTV set-top also works with the newest, fastest and broadest in range router frequency, wireless “N”. When setting up the router configuration, choose “b & g mixed” or “mixed” for the best results. What encryption level does the nTouchTV IPTV set-top box recognize? Currently the set-top box will recognize encryption as high as WEP2, or 128 bit encryption. The nTouchTV IPTV set-top box does not work with WPA or WPA2 levels of security at this time. nTouchTV is looking into enhancements that will allow for this type of feature to be available in the future.
