What Windows Azure functionality will be released in Beta and CTP in CY2010?
The Windows Azure platform has three release terms that it uses when it releases functionality to market. They are as follows: •General Availability’ is the term used for a paid feature being released to the public with an SLA and no usage restrictions. •‘Beta’ is the term used for a paid feature being released with an SLA to a subset of our customers as opposed to the general public. •‘Community Technology Preview’ (CTP) is the term used for a free new feature that’s being released without an SLA. A CTP could be open to the public or to a subset of our customers. Based on this terminology, we’re releasing the following products in Beta and CTP in CY2010.
