What will water do to Millennium Decking?

0

When wood absorbs water, it will swell and as wood dries out, it will shrink. Cracking, splitting and rotting can follow. This does not occur with Millennium Decking as the PVC fully surrounds (encapsulates) the wood flour. And because we use wood flour rather than wood strands or wood chips, there are no strands that connect or contact each other. Moisture will not enter the boards through capillary or wicking action along the wood fibre.
