Only records for employees working within an NHS organisation will be transferred to ESR. All student data will need to be keyed into ESR by the first employing organisation including graduating students with OHSC cards. This is the same procedure that needs to be followed for any employees who are new to the NHS. Although the data is not electronically transferable from the Medical Colleges, the initial entry of the employee’s occupational health clearance record is a one off exercise and the data will automatically transfer with the employee as s/he moves between organisations within the NHS.
