Topics for competitions are chosen by teachers and students. Teachers and students submit topic suggestions to the league president(s) a month before a competition is to be held. The league president(s) then select a group of diverse topics and release topics to the league’s teachers. Topics range from easy to difficult, and all require research and preparation.
