What will the student mentors be like?

0

The students who work on the Summer School are friendly and helpful and are themselves students at uni, so they fully understand the kinds of choices you are now facing at the end of Year 11. They will be more than happy to talk to you about why they decided to go to uni and what they hope to do after graduation. The role of student mentors on the Summer School is to help the team by chaperoning and accompanying you around the University and also to support YOU by helping you with any coursework and answering any questions you have about what it’s like to go to university. The Student mentors will be with you throughout the day and some will stay overnight at the Halls.
