What will the selection process be like for the Get Ahead School Leaver Programme?
Step 1: Apply online (from 17 January 2011 to end of February 2011) The application form asks you to provide general information, such as contact details and education/work experience. We also ask some questions to assess your suitability for the programme. As with all application forms, try to find a quiet place where you can concentrate fully on completing all of the sections to the best of your ability. By all means get advice from family, friends and your career advisor, but please remember that your application should only be completed by yourself. Step 2: If we decide to proceed with your application following a review, you will be invited to attend an assessment centre (March/April 2011) at the LOCOG offices in Canary Wharf, London. Step 3: If successful at assessment centre you will be invited for a final interview (April/May 2011). Step 4: Following the final interview, we will contact you with our final decision.
