What will the schedule look like for students in the Freshmen Academy?

Students in the Freshmen Academy will take four yearlong courses (45 minutes each): English, Math, Earth/Environmental Science, and Success and Leadership Seminar (SLS). They will take healthful living (a graduation requirement in the state of North Carolina) and three other electives on the block schedule (90 minutes per day for one semester). The classrooms for the teachers in the Freshmen Academy are integrated throughout the school building.
