What will the scars look like after breast reduction surgery?
Breast reduction scars are inevitable. They are permanent and often visible. Nevertheless, the majority of our breast reduction patients claim that the scars are acceptable and “not a big deal” considering the tremendous benefits and life-changing results. In the first couple of months after surgery, the scars may itch but eventually, the itching will stop as your scars begin to fade and flatten. For some women, who are more likely to get stretch marks, the scars may widen. In many cases, the scars will continue to fade and eventually become nearly invisible.
