What will the midterm tests be like?
You will have 40 minutes to complete the multiple choice questions plus possibly one or more bonus questions. Numerical values of constants, atomic masses etc. will be provided. It is to your advantage to answer all questions. The midterms will start promptly at 8:30 am on 19 January, 9 February, 2 March, and 23 March. Bring a calculator, a pencil, an eraser and a pen. Please do not sit in the front two rows! These are reserved for late arrivals and left-handed students. You must remain for the entire 40 minutes to avoid disruption of students still writing. Write your name and student ID number on the answer sheet in the appropriate areas as soon as you receive the answer sheet. Write your name and ID number on the test sheet too. Record your answers in pen on the answer sheet provided. Each answer is one of the letters A, B, C, D or E. Do not enter any other type of answer into the answer boxes.
