The Dreamast will launch at a retail price of $499. As the console comes with a modem and is state-of-the-art technology that delivers performance far in excess of todays high-end PCs, the Dreamcast is incredible value for money. When you compare it to the launch price of the PlayStation ($699), the Dreamcast is extremely competitive.
