What will the CQC do with the income from fees?

0

The money raised in fees will be deducted from the grant the CQC would otherwise receive from the central health and social care budget. The CQC understands that the Department of Health is considering the financial implications of the new charges for the NHS and considering how the money can best be distributed throughout the system. Our response to the CQC’s fees consultation raised concerns about how the proposed cost neutral fee model will be delivered and we are awaiting clarification on this.
