What will the committees on Music and on Children/Youth Formation will be doing?
These two committees were asked to prepare a proposal for interim coverage of Music and of Children/Youth Formation for approximately a year after Kent, Harriette, and Cathie leave. The Vestry thought that this time period will take the pressure off of the new Rector to hire someone immediately, and would allow her or him to help the parish discern what we want and need for these parts of our ministry. We also thought that the Rector might have some ideas for roles and responsibilities that we haven’t thought of. During this year, our intention is to maintain these ministries at their current level.
