What will the collaborative evaluation process ideally look like: collaboration among grantees across different sites or collaboration between a grantee and LTG Associates?
Collaborative evaluation is a type of participatory evaluation whereby the evaluator works closely with designated members of the organization to conduct the evaluation. For the Strengthening What Works program, LTG Associates will provide technical assistance to every one of the chosen applicants to ensure a successful project, the use of the findings to improve the applicants own programming, and the sharing of findings with a broader audience. Grantees are also encouraged to communicate between themselves. They will have access to evaluation materials and be able to exchange ideas and experiences that will be helpful to others participating in this initiative through a grantee Web site. Additionally, annual meetings will provide opportunities for grantees to exchange ideas with one another.
