What will the AHTPP actually do?
For the AHTPP, a team of data verifiers will compare a student’s paper transcript to the existing data from TP (that has been loaded into an MS Access database) to verify the accuracy of the data. The electronic data, including classes, grades, degrees, and program/standing changes, will be modified to match what’s on the paper transcript. Once verified, the data will be uploaded into Wayne State’s next integrated computer system — BANNER. After the project is finished, all students registered in or later will have their full academic record verified and on BANNER.
