What will the 2011 release of the EXIN ITSM program change?
The roll out of the new release of the EXIN program in IT Service Management based on ISO/IEC 20000 started in 2011 in order to: – Improve the market impact of the program by a repositioning based on the feedback from companies, experts and trainers – Align the content of the program with the 2011 version of the ISO/IEC 20000 standard and perform regular maintenance and make some improvements The changes implemented in this release are not revolutionary. The new name of the program (‘based on’) stresses that the content of the program is about service management instead of ‘only familiarizing candidates with the content of the ISO/IEC 20000 standard’ (as the previous ‘according to’ suggested to some).
