What will take out burnt smell in microwave when food caught on fire over a week ago?

Food caught on fire in microwave at work when a student did not put water in it and left it on to long. It has been a week and when the microwave is used it still smells up the lunchroom. Also the inside of microwave turned yellow inside. Is there anything that will clean the yellow color or is it now permanent?
