What will show on the students transcript?
Before the final grade is assigned, an ‘I’ grade with a ‘C’ default will be reflected as ‘IC’ on the unofficial transcript (screen 136 on SIS). On the official transcript, the grade shown will simply be an ‘I’; no default grade will show. After the ‘I’ grade has been replaced by the permanent grade, the official transcript will show only the permanent grade with no record of the incomplete. The unofficial transcript will show both the permanent grade and a record that this grade was once an incomplete.
