A: Your child’s IEP tells you how he/she will be assessed. Page 9 of the IEP indicates participation in standardized assessment with or without accommodations, or participation in alternative assessment. Q: My child is in an 8th grade special education class and reads at the 3rd grade level. Can he/she take the 3rd grade tests?
