What will my child learn by being a member of a social skills group at Bridges?
Goals are determined for each child and each group. Children learn skills necessary for developing quality relationships with peers such as how to initiate and maintain play interactions, use and understand nonverbal communication, engage in topical conversations, and make decisions with others. Cooperation, flexibility, and creativity are emphasized.
