What will Jays fans see from Michigan on Thursday?
Everyone thinks that Michigan runs the 1-3-1 exclusively, but at times that it’s working well, they will stick with it, but they play more man-to-man than anything. They have a point guard now in Darius Moore who really has done a nice job at the top of the press with his length and can create some problems. Everyone talks about this being a Princeton offense, but it’s actually more of an European style of offense. They don’t go backdoor all the time. They will take it when it’s there, but for the most part as Manny Harris and DeShawn Sims go – they go. Describe the types of players that Harris and Sims are. Manny, if you’ve seen him play, is a legit All-American candidate, and they like to get the ball in his hands as much as possible, but they would like to see him give it up. He didn’t give it up as much as they would have liked last game after a triple-double in the first game of the season. He tried to force it too much against Houston Baptist, and that drives Beilein nuts. Manny
