What will it Cost to Use the NIPR Gateway?
To access the NIPR Gateway, a signed NIPR License Agreement is required. Identification numbers will be charged at the $100 per year rate. There is also a per transaction charge of $2.00 ($1.75 for Charter Members). Discounts will apply for prepaid volume usage. Costs incurred by a vendor may be passed onto the user. No one vendor is recommended over another. Costs are always a concern. The NIPR Board feels it has a serious responsibility to both industry and regulators to keep charges in line with actual costs. NIPR is a nonprofit organization. The NIPR Board has retained pricing decisions under its direct control. Pricing increases (or decreases) are made only after close scrutiny of all facts.
