What will happen with Hanover and Trask when the SRC opens?
The projections are to offer additional HPER and PED classes during the day and early evenings. Athletics is still trying to expand indoor practice times as teams want to become more competitive in our conference and nation. Campus Recreation will still have to use the pool and racquetball courts for free play space and Intramurals will still require the use of Hanover and Trask court space to meet the needs of our growing program. It may create a little extra space to help meet the needs of some our Sport Clubs that have struggled to find practice space in the past. As you can see, there won’t be much free time in these facilities even after we move to our new location.
