What will happen when I make contact to set up an SLPI/MSLPI interview(s)?
You will talk to Diana McKittrick, SCLI Coordinator, at (810) 760-2796 TTY/V or call toll-free at (888) 760-2206 Monday-Friday during normal business hours or you may email Diana at mckittrickd@michigan.gov to discuss potential dates, the number of candidates you would like to put through the process and any other additional services. Once a date has been established, an information packet will be sent to the program administrator or designated contact person, which contains all of the necessary information needed for the visit to your site. The packet will include information for scheduling, schedule forms and other documents that will need to be passed onto the SLPI interview candidates. There are also tips for the candidates, brief overview of the process to share, and an eligibility certificate for MSLPI as well as permission forms for MSLPI interviews and a copy of the SLPI rating levels.
