Violators are guilty of a fourth degree misdemeanor on a first offense and subject to a maximum $250.00 fine and/or thirty (30) days in jail. On a second or subsequent offense, the penalty escalates to a first degree misdemeanor subject to $1,000.00 and/or six (6) months in jail.
