What will happen to vendors (and related resources) that choose not to participate in the VMS PROGRAM?
The VMS PROGRAM Team has committed to work as diligently as possible to achieve a 100% enrollment rate in the program. While we will continue to operate with this as our goal, we will also plan for the event that certain vendors chose not to participate. Vendors that chose not to participate in the program will likely see their business with STATE OF WISCONSIN (DOA-DET) eliminated within a short period of time. We understand and recognize the risk that may present to certain key resources; however, the VMS PROGRAM is a strategic initiative that is being deployed as a STATE OF WISCONSIN best practice. The VMS PROGRAM is committed to minimizing the disruptive impact of vendor non-participation by utilizing a number of strategies, including the replacement of those resources with equivalent talent. The program terms are fair and market competitive, and it is in this spirit that we will be approaching our vendors to continue supporting the STATE OF WISCONSIN under this program.
