What will happen to unfunded applications?
The vast majority of applications that did not receive funding this year are considered “pending,” which means that the proposal is still under consideration in the event that the COPS Office receives additional police hiring funds in FY 2010. Once the COPS Office receives our FY 2010 appropriations, we will determine how best to proceed with the pending requests. No further action is required from your agency at this time.
