What will happen to the version history of a file migrated to a destination library?

The version history of a file will be retained based on the option selected in ‘File Version Options’ step XPlica Migration Wizard. If ‘Overwrite file’ option is selected, then the existing destination file (including versions) will be deleted from SharePoint and the source file (including versions depending on user selection) will be migrated. If ‘Create as new version’ option is selected, the latest version or the version history of the source file will be added to the destination library.
