What will happen to the staff at Royal Hallamshire Hospital Walk in Centre and Minor Injuries Unit?
If we decide to de-commission the minor injuries and walk in centre services at RHH we will give formal legal notice to the providers of these services – Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and Sheffield PCT Provider Services respectively. It will be the responsibility of both these organisations to make arrangements for staff whose posts may be at risk of redundancy and the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE) will apply. There are likely to be job opportunities at the new centre.
