What will happen to the Set-Meter sample in Boston after May 2002?
With the start of the May 2002 survey, Nielsen Media Research will stop producing Meter/Diary audience estimates. We will start de-installing the Set-Meter sample shortly thereafter. The field staff will collect the Set-Meter hardware, thank the household for participating in our Set-Meter sample, and tell the Set-Meter sample homes that their service is no longer required in the Boston marketplace. Starting with the May survey, the Boston currency will be based on Local People Meters.
