What will happen to the schools graduate education and professional development classes offered to the high-tech community in Washington County?
OGI’s 2001 merger with OHSU was designed to serve as a bridge from high-tech to healthcare. The school’s move to OHSU’s Schnitzer campus will further strengthen the linkages between these two industries. During the leaseback period and beyond, OGI will serve the graduate and professional education needs of Oregon’s high-technology industries by expanding its offerings of advanced, relevant graduate and professional development courses-in management in science and technology, computer science and electrical engineering-conveniently located in the heart of Oregon’s Silicon Forest. These courses may take place on the current OGI campus or in leased or purchased space.
