What will happen to the recreation areas along Gross Reservoir?
Gross Reservoir has been and will continue to be a recreational amenity in Boulder County. If the project is approved, some of the existing recreation facilities that need to be moved for the expanded reservoir will be relocated to higher elevations. The surface area of the reservoir would expand from about 400 acres to 800 acres, but Denver Water does not plan to expand existing recreation opportunities.
