What will happen to the pews if removed?
We’ve been receiving enquiries about whether pews can be purchased once removed. We hope to get official approval for our work mid-May and, assuming this is the case, the contractors would start work a couple of weeks later. Immediately before work begins we would be removing the pews and making them available to church family members, and others, who are prepared to make a reasonable donation to the Building Fund. The suggested minimum donation is £150.00. If you want to secure yourself a pew then contact the church office with your name and contact details (preferably including email). Before you do, please note the following: • You can reserve more than one pew but should demand exceed supply we’ll apply restrictions • Once we have a list of interested people you’ll be invited to nominate which pew(s) you’d like to receive. (Disputes will be resolved by Maynard!) • It will be essential that pews are taken off site on the day they are removed, to clear the way for the contractors.
