What will happen to the many leaseholders currently based on Cape Peron?
The southern leases are outside the project area currently and there is no requirement to relocate/remove these leasehold interests. However, the project does provide an opportunity for the Steering Committee to work closely with leaseholders and to address any issues they may have. This will be discussed with them. It is a goal of the project to accommodate the northern leaseholders within the project area.
