It will no longer be used and is being replaced by MyCalPAYS. Q: What are Person Ids and Personnel Numbers A: Person ID and Personnel Number are randomly assigned numbers. The Person ID will not change and will remain with the employee throughout their life cycle in MyCalPAYS. The Person Id and Personnel Number will be the same when the employee does not hold multiple positions, i.e., concurrent employment. With concurrent employment, the Id and Number will differ with the Personnel Number differentiating each assignment.
