What will happen to the calendar information currently in Oracle Calendar?
Unfortunately, there is no product or service available that can move all of the calendar data from our Oracle Calendar sytem to GroupWise at a server level. It is possible for an individual user to export a range of data from their personal Oracle Calendar account to a file of a common format (iCal) that can be imported into GroupWise. This process is not flawless. For example, the links between instances of reoccurring meetings will be broken after they are imported in to GroupWise. The data export/import process will be taught in the Transition to GroupWise class. However, given the known limitations, we reccomend that departments and individual users anticipate manually re-entering their meeting and appointments.
