What will happen to Sharcote when it gets wet?
Sharcote is a proprietary panel designed to withstand moisture. Our coating is 100% waterproof and our panels are factory edge sealed to prevent moisture from penetrating the panel. During normal concrete pouring operations, if the panel’s coating has not been compromised and the factory edgeseal is in place, the panel may absorb some moisture from the ambient air but the change to the panel itself will be minimal. The bottom line is that Sharcote is designed to work outdoors with wet concrete. The panel will perform well in these types of conditions without question.
